For new moms, from one

You don't have to figure motherhood out alone.

Real guidance for the first year — what your baby actually needs, what's worth buying, and a full course to help you feel calm and confident instead of constantly overwhelmed.

A few things that make the early days easier

Small, practical shifts — not another overwhelming checklist.

Let go of "perfect," aim for "present."

Your baby doesn't need a flawless mother — they need a calm, responsive one. Give yourself permission to learn as you go. Confidence comes from repetition, not perfection.

Build one small routine before anything else.

You don't need a rigid schedule in week one. Start with a simple, repeatable wind-down before naps and bedtime — it teaches your baby (and you) what comes next.

Make feeding and changing as low-effort as possible.

The fewer decisions you have to make at 3 a.m., the better. Set up a changing station and feeding kit that requires zero thinking to use, even half-asleep.

Protect sleep — yours and theirs.

Sound, temperature, and light matter more than people expect. A few small environmental changes can extend naps and stretch nighttime sleep sooner than you'd think.

Hi, I'm Natascha Hochheim.

I'm Danish, based in Hungary, and I know first-hand how disorienting new motherhood can feel — the conflicting advice, the pressure to get it "right," the nights that blur together.

Hochhe grew out of that experience: honest, practical guidance for new moms who want to feel confident and prepared, not overwhelmed. No perfection, no performative parenting — just what actually works.
